The Lowdown.

If you are not only interested in the the normal sights of Bogota but also want to literally add a bit of spice on the tour this is perfect for you.

Meeting at the National Museum with your guide you will start walking to “La Perseverancia” food market.

Here you will gain the full Colombian experience of a food market while interacting with local cooks, vendors and also tasting some delicious fruits.

The next two stops will be the Macarena neighborhood and the “Septimazo”. La Macarena used to be known as bohemian neighborhood in the 20th century and now it is filled with exquisite restaurants and art galleries.

After this you are spoiled for choice on the “Septimazo” street by street artist, singers and food carts.

Next you will stop at a traditional bakery called “La Florida Bakery” for a mouth-watering pastry and a hot beverage.

To cool off from all the walking in the Columbian climate your tour will bring you past a artisanal ice-cream shop for you to try flavors made from Amazonic fruits.

If you still have room in your stomach for a savory meal the next part of the tour will be right up your street. It is a restored colonial house in the La Candelaria where you are able to try traditional meals from various regions of the country.

The last stop will be a indigenous store, where you will be able to taste different coca leaf products and learn more about the indigenous culture.
