Walking through La Candelaria you will learn about the colonial process, independence and the contemporary revival of indigenous traditions.

You will visit a very special place for ancestral drinks at the heart of La Candelaria where you will be able to try Chicha, Zhuke, Guarapo and Chirrinchi as you get tips for tasting, and facts relating to ancient rituals and traditions from Colombia’s countryside. 

After, you will head north to Chapinero where you will visit a contemporary chicha restaurant where indigenous traditions are revived through the inclusion of these beverages in a gourmet menu.

Finally, you will go to craft beer pubs specialized in developing distinctive flavors that appeal to the local public.
